The Escort Services Department is responsible for providing 24-hour service that ensures our patients are moved safely throughout the facility for admissions, diagnostic & treatment procedures, and unit-to-unit transfers. State-of-the-art electronic dispatching system is utilized to notify transporter by alpha numeric beepers for their specific assignments.
Staff Development and Education
All staff receive orientation, ongoing inservice, education, staff meetings, and on-the-job training.
Determining the Extent to Which Care Provided Meets Patient’s Needs
The quality of patient care is monitored on a regular basis following the department’s Performance Improvement indicators.
