The Department of Medical Staff and Program Development endeavors to strengthen internal and external physician relationships to ensure that Wyckoff Heights Medical Center is the hospital of choice for physicians practicing in the communites we serve. It is our role to understand what physicians value most in their relationship with the Hospital and in doing so, to employ a multidisciplinary approach to both programmatic development and problem-solving that sustains and enhances physician relations.
For new physicians joining our medical staff, we strive to make their transition to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center as seamless as possible. Our staff helps facilitate credentialing, provides hopitalwide orientation upon approval of privileges, collaborates with in-house specialists on physicians’ managed care applications, fosters networking among the established medical staff and enlists the interdepartmental cooperation that is essential to ongoing physician satisfaction.
We encourage physicians who are not presently associated with the Hospital’s medical staff to inquire about Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and the full range of premier medical and surgical services that we offer. A member of the Department of Medical Staff and Program Development is available at the convenience of the physician’s schedule to meet in person to provide an overview of the Hospital, offer a comprehensive tour of our facility, or to start the credentialing process.
